Young Craft Booster (YCB) is a project designed to facilitate the first steps of young people in the professional world of crafts and design.

If the transmission of crafts is not secured, we risk to lose the rich cultural heritage of European Craftsmanship: YCB seeks to actively contribute in preserving this legacy.

Co-funded by the European Union, YCB aims to ease the integration of young artisans into the job market, as well as to create more opportunity for business development in the same field.

Applications for the 2025/2026 edition of the programme in Italy are now closed: we will soon announce the selected duos.
The selected candidates will be able to attend classroom training in Milan and carry out a paid internship in an artisan workshop; moreover, they will have access to additional training content published on the Youngcraftbooster.eu website, and they will become part of the project’s international network of young artisans.
