Young Craft Booster (YCB) is a project designed to facilitate the first steps of young people in the professional world of crafts and design.

If the transmission of crafts is not secured, we risk to lose the rich cultural heritage of European Craftsmanship: YCB seeks to actively contribute in preserving this legacy.

Co-funded by the European Union, YCB aims to ease the integration of young artisans into the job market, as well as to create more opportunity for business development in the same field.

Applications are now open for the 2025/2026 edition of the programme (Italy).
Fondazione Cologni will select two candidates who will attend classroom-based training in Milan and take part in a paid internship in an craft workshop. In addition, the selected participants will have access to extra learning materials published on the Youngcraftbooster.eu website and will join the project’s international network of young crafters.
